The newest installment of the popular UNIV Malden and Claxton button-up shirts are now here. The Malden (long sleeve) comes in navy blue Gingham and the Claxton (short sleeve) comes in a red plaid. Both shirts feature 100% cotton, fine tailoring and a very nice fit. These styles are made right here in Southern California.

UNIV has just received the new Vans Syndicate releases in collaboration with New York skateboarding legend Rodney Smith. The featured styles in this release are the Native American O.G. "S" and Old Skool O.G. "S". The shoes are Rodney's interpretation of classic Vans styles from the past. Even the vintage-inspired shoe boxes feature cool customization. Rodney Smith is one of the original founders of New York's Shut Skateboards, Zoo York and also the current Shut NYC brand. This is one of the best Syndicate releases in a long time!

UNIV presents The Snakeskin Cowboys at The Saloon on Tuesday May 24th from 10pm to 1am. Featuring our very own DJ's Hott Carl and Executive. This is going to be something really spectacular.

The Keds Champion CVO Navy Canvas and Anchor Chukka Grey Canvas have just arrived here at UNIV. With simple design, these refined classics are looking mighty fine indeed. Pair them with UNIV Daily natural selvage denim or a Claxton shirt,

Some new Nike SB Stefan Janoski shoes are here. Featuring the low-top in white suede with gum sole and a new mid-top in cappuccino with white sole. The Janoski has become the favorite SB sneaker of the moment. Come and check these ones out, if you please.

New arrival this week of Oakley Acid Series Frogskins sunglasses in orange/grey and re-stock of the black/grey. They're 80's collector edition re-issues with translucent color frames and gray lenses. Just like you had back-in-the-day, if you were around then.

We've just gotten couple of new sneakers from Vans. They've been around for decades yet still keep coming up with new stuff. This time it's the Wing Tip Era and 106 Vulc. They're both are looking very nice, indeed.

Some fabulous new Herschel Supply Co. backpacks are here all the way from the Canadian wilderness. Featuring the Little America and Pop Quiz styles this time around, with simple styling and fine details.

We've just gotten some new SUPERbrand t-shirts in the shop. We're also getting together with SUPER and throwing our second annual  Cinco De Mayo event at UNIV in this Thursday at 4pm. The event will feature SUPER products, food, refreshments and a preview of the new SUPER surf movie "Sorry, We're Open" with Clay Marzo, Dion Agius and Ry Craike. Hector The Pinata will be making an appearance and SUPER Creative Director Tony Larson will be the DJ. Come out and have some fun.
