UNIV is pleased to present the Raen Pop-Up Shop, launching this Wednesday, July 29th. Raen Optics are focused on quality, style and a unique design aesthetic, setting it apart from the rest. The opening celebration will feature live music from the Mattson 2. The Pop-Up will run from the 29th until August 5th. Come on out and see for yourself.

UNIV and Rhino Collective proudly present Series 1.0 Release art show on Wed. July 1st from 5-9pm. Featuring pieces from bike-related artists Matt Lingo (LA), Anthony Bareno (SD), Dan Purnell (OZ). Come on out for a good time this Wednesday night!

The Lovewright Company and UNIV brought you Recession Sessions on Saturday June 20th. The event featured an art exhibit by tattoo artist Rob Benavides of Flying Panther Tattoo and a vintage Honda motorcycle by 02 Motorworks. The music was provided by Profile of The Upstarts.The Honda is still on display for a couple of days, feel free to stop on by and check it out.

Introducing Nose Pick, the Heel Bruise Pop-Up Shop at UNIV featuring art by Lance Mountain, Skypage and Thomas Yu. Nose Pick will take place May 15th 2009 from 7-10 pm with music by the one-and-only Don Froth. Heel Bruise is a new brand out of California from longtime pro skater Richard Mulder and brand afficionado Robbie Jeffers. Lance Mountain is of course a skateboarding icon and member of the legendary Bones Brigade. Heel Bruise is right on the money with timeless graphics and a great philosophy of ‘quest for the radical middle’. UNIV is proud to collaborate and introduce this special brand launch with our Heel Bruise brothers.

UNIV proudly presents Yacht Rock by C-Bot at the Saloon April 29th. It promises to be a night of fun, shenanigans and general debauchery. Every time we do an event with C-Bot they are great, he knows how to turn up the heat.

One People Project and UNIV are joining forces to bring you the first ever One People Project Pop-Up Shop. The shop begins April 17th and runs until April 19th, with an opening party featuring DJ’s Gabe Vega and Aesthetic. Two different limited edition One People Project x UNIV collaboration t-shirts will go on sale at the event.

A while back the evil winds took out the trees in front of UNIV. Cars were smashed, people were afraid but, UNIV remained intact. We survived that one!
